Prizes from 1 st -5 th Place Regional Championship Classes will have special awards for 1 st Place Winners In order to qualify for the Regional Championship Classes at The National , exhibitors must win 1 st -3 rd place in the Regional Championship Class . All horses MUST be inspected by the DQP prior to and following their class ( es ). DQP also has the right to inspect horses anywhere on the grounds . Saddles will not be required to be removed , but may be requested by the DQP and owner must comply if asked . Stirrups need to be tied up prior to entering inspection area .

1 . The Pre-entry deadline for the TN / KY / WV Regional Championship is June 21 , 2024 . All entries online must be received by midnight on June 21 , 2024 or they must be postmarked by June 15 , 2024 .
2 . Class Fees are as follows : a . Class Fee – Pre-entry : $ 30 / class b . Championship Class Fee : $ 40 / class
3 . DQP fees are as follows :
$ 15.00 / day ( Friday and Saturday ) 4 . Office Fee is $ 20.00 per horse . 5 . Camper sites are available and are $ 45.00 / night . 6 . Stalls are available for $ 90.00 for the weekend and that does NOT include shavings . 7 . Shavings are available for $ 8.00 / bag . 8 . Grounds fee of $ 20.00 / per horse / per day is required if you work out of your trailer and do not get a stall . 9 . Class sponsorships are available for $ 25.00 . 10 . An NWHA membership is required to show in all rail divisions .
Their membership fees are as follows : a . Adult Membership - $ 75.00 b . Family Membership - $ 125.00 c . Youth Membership - $ 25.00 d . Show Card - $ 25.00 ( good for only this show ) 11 . ALL RIDERS MUST HAVE EITHER A CURRENT MEMBERSHIP OR A SHOW CARD FOR THE WEEKEND IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE TO SHOW !
12 . HELMETS ARE REQURIED FOR RIDERS 11 & UNDER AND RECOMMENDED FOR ALL YOUTH RIDERS . ALL VERSATILITY CLASSES WILL REQUIRE ALL YOUTH TO WEAR A HELMET !!!
13 . This show is for SOUND HORSES ONLY ! Any lame or sored horses will be disqualified from competition and could be asked to leave the grounds , no questions asked , and forfeit all fees . All breeds of horses will be checked by the DQP before each class and at least the first place horse will be checked immediately following the classes and Show Management has the right to check any horse as it leaves the ring .
14 . There will be no bands , action devices , or plastic wrap allowed at the show grounds !
15 . Registration Papers are not required , however birthdates will be verified for Junior Horse Classes .
16 . TN / KY / WV Regional Championship Horse Show reserves the right to : a . Cancel , combine , split ( where there are 25 or more horses ) any class or refuse to accept an entry as deemed necessary . b . Not give any refunds if any show officials must be substituted . c . To ask anyone found abusing a horse on the show grounds to leave the grounds . d . Not to give any refunds to a horse that does not show due to disqualification by the DQP . 17 . TN / KY / WV Regional Championship Horse Show will not be responsible for any accidents , loss or damage to contestants , spectators , equipment or animals . All exhibitors must sign a release for before being allowed to enter the ring .
18 . A COPY OF A CURRENT NEGATIVE COGGINS MUST ACCOMPANY ALL ENTRIES .
19 . It is the exhibitor ’ s responsibility to know and adhere to the breed rules and regulations . There will be rulebooks in the show office for review , if needed . NWHA rules will supersede all breed rules .
20 . Plantation Shoe must not exceed three pounds and eight ounces . The Plantation shoe must not exceed 1 1 / 2 ” in width nor ½ ” in thickness with no bare plate or any other weight inside the shoe . The caulk must not exceed a 1 ” turnback and the shoe must not extend more than 1 /” beyond the hoof at the toe . The heel of the shoe must not extend beyond the bulb of the horse ’ s heel when a perpendicular line is drawn from the bulb of the horse ’ s heel to the ground . Plantation Pleasure horses can show in Model , Versatility , and other Non-designated classes . Plantation Pleasure horses will be asked to Flatwalk , Running Walk and Canter ( where specified ).
21 . Lite Shod shoes may not exceed 3 / 4 ” wide or x 3 / 8 ” in thickness with the exception of the caulk , which must be no thicker than ¾ ”. The turnback shall not exceed 1 ” and the shoe must not extend more than ¼ ” beyond the hoof at the toe . The shoe is not to extend beyond the bulb of the horse ’ s heel when a perpendicular line is drawn from the bulb of the horse ’ s heel to the ground . Horses will be expected to Flatwalk , Running Walk and Canter ( Where specified ).
22 . Trail Pleasure horse ’ s shoes may not exceed 3 / 4 ” wide or x 3 / 8 ” in thickness with the exception of the caulk , which must be no thicker than ¾ ”. The turnback shall not exceed 1 ” and the shoe must not extend more than ¼ ” beyond the hoof at the toe . The shoe is not to extend beyond the bulb of the horse ’ s heel when a perpendicular line is drawn from the bulb of the horse ’ s heel to the ground . Horses will be expected to Flatwalk , Running Walk , and Canter ( where specified )
23 . Country Pleasure horses cannot wear anything larger than a factory-made non draft breed , stamped ( poured or cast ) hot or cold rolled steel or aluminum keg shoe . Only flat or heeled keg shoe options are allowed . Keg shoes manufactured with grabs or weighted toes are prohibited . Only clips drawn from the shoe itself are permitted . No additional materials can be added or removed from the keg shoe . The keg shoe cannot extend past the toe . The shoe is not to extend beyond the bulb of the horse ’ s heel when a perpendicular line is drawn from the horse ’ s heel to the ground . Horses will be expected to Trail Walk , Flatwalk , Running Walk and Canter ( Where specified ).
24 . All Day Pleasure shoes may not exceed 3 / 4 ” wide or x 3 / 8 ” in thickness with the exception of the caulk , which must be no thicker than ¾ ”. The turnback shall not exceed 1 ” and the shoe must not extend more than ¼ ” beyond the hoof at the toe . The shoe is not to extend beyond the bulb of the horse ’ s heel when a perpendicular line is drawn from the bulb of the horse ’ s heel to the ground . Horses will be expected to Trail Walk , Pleasure Gait , and Canter ( where specified ).
25 . Park Lite Shod horses can wear a shoe no larger than 1 ” in width and ½ ” in thickness with the exception of the caulk , which must not be thicker than ¾ ”. The turnback shall not exceed 1 ”, and the shoe must not extend more than ¼ ” beyond the hoof at the toe . The shoe is not to extend beyond the bulb of the horse ’ s heel when a perpendicular line is drawn from the bulb of the horse ’ s heel to the ground . Horses will be expected to Flatwalk , Running Walk , and Canter ( where specified ).
26 . To be eligible to show in AOT classes , horse may not have had any professional training for the prior 90 days preceeding the show . 27 . A Youth is an exhibitor that as of January 1 st of the show year has not reached his / her 18 th birthday .
28 . Communication devices are not allowed in ANY classes . 29 . ***** PERSONS ON FEDERAL DISQUALIFICATION MAY NOT TRANSPORT HORSES TO THIS SHOW AND MAY PARTICIPATE ONLY AS A SPECTATOR *******
30 . ALL DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH WHILE ON THE SHOW GOUNDS !!!
