Moonwalker Farm presents 2 newcomers to the National show ring competing in the All Day Pleasure division .
Kailyn and Alivia began riding last year and participated in their first show in late October . Originally they went to the Waco Highlander Gaited horse show just to watch but as they rode in the warm-up ring the night before it was obvious they got this ! The smile on their faces told the story and it ’ s been Katy bar the door ever since . In hand model lessons have begun as well as riding English ! Texas heat won ’ t even stop the girls as we teach Henry and Willie to canter on cue . The goal is to enter 3 gait classes even if they show against adults !
As the horse show “ Mom ” I can ’ t be any more proud of these two girls and how far they have come in such a short time . Learning to be partners with their horses , posture , consistency , and how to smile while in the show ring ! We appreciate your cheers as they come around the oval for the first time !
