The Lifetime Superior Achievement Program (LSAP) This is a versatility program for NWHA that has something for everyone who shows. Championships can be earned in English Pleasure, Western Pleasure, Versatility, and/or Model. Points accumulate from year to year, with the exception of the Annual Register of Merit. The pinnacle of the versatility horse is the achievement of The Order of The Equinus. Horses can achieve this top award when achieving "Champion" status in Model, Versatility and English or Western Pleasure. It may be a long road, but it is well worth the travel! AWARDS Annual Register of Merit (Adult: 20 points | Youth: 15 points) Anyone versatility, pleasure, or model even Points must be earned in one calendar year Versatility Championship (Adult: 100 points | Youth: 75 points) A minimum of 5 events with at least 15 points for Adult (10 points for Youth) in each of the 5 events Additional points can be earned in other versatility events English Pleasure Championship (Adult: 100 points | Youth: 75 points) Points earned in English Pleasure (canter classes), OR a minimum of 75 points for Adult (50 points for Youth) must be earned in English Pleasure and 25 points earned in two-gait English classes Western Pleasure Championship (Adult: 100 points | Youth: 75 points) Points earned in Western Pleasure (canter classes), OR a minimum of 75 points for Adult (50 points for Youth) must be earned in Western Pleasure and 25 points earned in two-gait Western classes Model Championship (Adult: 50 points | Youth: 40 points) Points earned in Model OR with a minimum of 40 points for Adult (30 points for Youth) in Model, additional points may be earned in Showmanship at Halter ORDER OF THE EQUINUS: Awarded to the horse (adult) or horse/rider combination (youth) that has earned the Versatility Championship, Pleasure Championship (English OR Western) and Model Championship Awards Eligibility Requirements Owner must be NWHA member AND must nominate horse Points will start counting when owner is NWHA member and horse is nominated Points will be counted on an annual basis Points may be earned at any show, but the show must have a licensed judge Adult points will be awarded to the horse Youth points will be awarded to the horse/rider combination NWHA National News 24
