Program
NWHA Annual High Point Award Program Purpose: To award horses competing at NWHA
Sanctioned events annually in specified divisions.
Eligibility Rules: The following rules must be met in order to participate in the annual high point
award program.
• Owner must be a current NWHA Member
• Rider must be a current NWHA Member
• Horse must be nominated and fees paid by designated time
• Nominations are “per horse”
• Only NWHA Sanctioned events are eligible. Points: Points will be awarded in the following
manner:
• Awarded per show season (Jan 01 – Dec 31)
• Points are awarded based on placement in a class and the number of entries in that class at
NWHA-affiliated shows.
• Points will be awarded to a horse, not to a rider.
• Horses receive the following:
• Points tabulated by NWHA High Point Committee upon show management submission of
show results.
Single Points: All NWHA sanctioned events
Double Points: All NWHA Regional Championship shows
Triple points: The NWHA National Championship Show
