When I inquired if everyone rode him I was answered with quickly. “(You can) Put anyone on him, Clara, Jaxon, boys I bring into the barn. He’s the best horse,” said Sheldon. Sheldon’s mention of Clara in that last comment is speaking of the latest horseback riding rockstar to its roster of excellent horseback riders.  Clara Scheib is Karen’s granddaughter, and Sheldon’s niece. She is 5 years old, and if you had the pleasure of running into the Bochenek family in the summer of 2015 we can all rest assured that you did not forget her.  Clara is an outgoing, boisterous, conversational, and funny little girl. Being at horse shows with her grandma and her auntie means the world to her. And she is serious about horse showing with Oscar. Clara’s answers to interview questions were probably the most enjoyable part of putting together this piece. She is so smart and so well-spoken I took the liberty of placing her direct answers here in the article. After a long season of showing in 2015 both Clara and Sheldon wanted to make it a point to say thank you to both Karen and Ron Bochenek for all their hard work in making their horse showing possible. Once again, they just confirmed that they might be the sweetest kids ever. Overall it isn’t hard to see what Oscar means to the Bochenek family. The love for this horse is so strong. Sheldon said it best with “He’s a great horse, and we love him so much. Every time I see him he brightens my day. Honestly, words can’t even describe how much he means to our family.”
