GEORGIA JUBILEE | Region 4 Championship Show
The NWHA kicked off the first Regional show of 2021 in a brand new facility down South in the Peach State on April 31 . Hosted at the Bulloch County Ag Complex , Honorable Susan Ellis of Manakin Sabot , VA marked the cards for 3 days of classes .
Exhibitors and horses came from FL , NC , SC , GA and TX to vie for ribbons over the Derby Day weekend . The All Day Pleasure classes had the biggest entries of the show , including full youth classes ! 2020 NWHA rail horse of the year , I ’ m Mick Jazzer secured wins in both the Lite and Park Lite Shod Championships divisions with Morgan Applewhite in the irons for owner JoEllen Finerfrock . Spoonerisms Training client Larry Mesimer ’ s horse M1 Blues won the Trail Pleasure Championship , ridden by Mikal Spooner . Cindi Nixon ’ s spotted saddle horse , Wolf ’ s Dirty Money was undefeated in all his under-saddle classes including the Championships in both SSH ’ s Trail Pleasure and Lite Shod divisions with trainer Morgan Applewhite . Shannon Gibbs showed her gelding , The Merry Dare Devil to the winner ’ s circle capturing the Model Championship title . NWHA newcomer and GA local , Kenneth Harris won the Trail Pleasure Racking Championship with his mount , Pusher ’ s Jessie and competed to the reserve in the Country Pleasure Racking aboard Pusher ’ s Rampage . The Country Pleasure Racking win went to So Exquisite , owned and shown by Kimberly O ’ Connor .
The show would like to extend our deepest sympathy to Marcia Hersh for the loss of the show ’ s All Day Pleasure and Country Pleasure 2 gait champion , A Black Martini , trained and shown by Morgan Applewhite .
