Current( one year) negative Coggins required. The NWHA HIO rules will be followed for regular classes.
NWHA Members are automatically entered into the NWHA High Point Program
IWHA requests a horse ' s TWHBEA Registration number when available for reporting results to TWHBEA. TWHBEA Members receive entry into the International High Point Program. TWHBEA World Series Affiliation earns double points for TWHBEA Versatility Program participants. TWHBEA Versatility rules will be followed for all versatility classes.
SSHBEA rules applied to all SSH sanctioned classes.
SSHBEA Registration Numbers required to enter all SSHBEA sanctioned classes.
Double Registered SSH / TWH are allowed to cross enter TWH and SSH classes and exhibit according to their respective class / division rules. Classes are placed to 10th and will ribbon to 6th. Youth Classes are for any youth 17 and under.

Youth Exhibitors reaching the age of 18 after January 1st can finish out 2017 as a youth exhibitor. Helmets are required to be worn by everyone competing as a Youth and worn in all classes. Helmets are encouraged to be worn by all exhibitors. No Hoof bands or action devices allowed on the show grounds. Clear hoof polish only / No hoof black All Thrown Shoes will be Inspected and Weighed before a Class will be tied Any person on suspension from the USDA or any HIO may participate as a spectator only All TWH Divisions can enter into Open Pleasure Classes. IWHA offers a limited amount of these classes * Open Pleasure classes are awarded on correctness of gait. Animation will not automatically be awarded. AGB rail classes will be called at a Flat Walk and Show Gait( Running Walk / Foxtrot etc.) All Day Pleasure and Versatility Classes are open to All Gaited Breeds Park Lite Shod Horses are allowed to cross enter into Plantation Pleasure. All Day Pleasure Horses can cross enter into Country Pleasure as long as shoeing requirements are met. Showmanship pattern will be available when office opens on Saturday. Versatility patterns will be posted after Lunch break on Saturday.
IWHA is open to class additions as long as the request is received 30 days prior to the show. Novice Rules: Can ' t have won 3 Blues at the close of entries for that class. Blues at this show don ' t count. Early arrival is Noon on Friday October 5th. A $ 5.00 fee per horse fee will be charged for exhibitors arriving before noon on Friday. Late Departure is 8 hours after the conclusion of the show. A $ 5.00 dollar per horse fee will be charged for exhibitors on late departure. Horses on Trailer Tie must have proper supervision.
Typographical errors are known to happen / All decisions by show management are final in the face of such errors IWHA will honor WHOA Amateur Cards and will cover the cost of NWHA Temporary Show Passes for those exhibitors. Pre-entry available at: www. illinoiswalkinghorseassociation. com
