DALLAS CHARITY HORSE SHOW AT FAIR PARK APRIL 12-14, 2018 — DALLAS, TEXAS Over 100 horses participated in this inaugural benefit show. The event was a multi-breed gaited horse show for Rocky Mountain horses, Kentucky Mountain horses, Walking horses, & Spotted Saddle horses, the show also included classes for Friesians, American Saddlebreds, and Paso Fino exhibitions. The show spanned three days at Fair Park in Dallas, home of the famed State Fair of Texas and offered 124 classes including Open Gaited Breed classes and fun classes such as the Tito’s Cup and the TX Whiskey Glass Class, “Team 2 Ride,” “Senior Rider,” and Lead Line Class. There was huge participation in the Youth classes, and the Lead Line Class was a big hit with 20 entrants. Exhibitors enjoyed the beautiful new stalls in the Fair Park Horse Barn and stuffed-to-the-brim favor bags full of goodies from sponsors. The stands were full of visitors, and the local hotels were full! The local economic impact from this show is estimated to be in the millions. The Dallas Charity Horse Show at Fair Park benefited Equest (therapeutic riding), Friends of Fair Park (art preservation) and the Friends of the Dallas Mounted Police. Icon Global was the Championship Class Sponsor, Triple M Trailers of Texas was the Official Trailer, and Tito’s Handmade Vodka was the Tito’s Cup sponsor. Regions Bank, Botsford Financial, Clark & McCrea and the THPF were the High Point Awards sponsor. Dr. John Antonetti was the favor bag sponsor and Fischer Companies was the hat sponsor. Southwest Airlines is the Official Airline. The Dallas Charity Horse Show at Fair Park would like to thank these sponsors and all of the many, many generous donors! Due to overwhelming popularity, dates have already been set for next year’s show! Plans are to have a full warm-up day followed by three full days of classes, evening entertainment and abundant prize money.
