(f) Overseas Member Overseas membership only applies to persons having their vessels outside UK waters; Overseas Members do not have the right to a vote although they are allowed to purchase and use any NWCC merchandise. Any items of club regalia purchased via the Internet will have postage and packing costs added to the total. Details of items for sale and Club news are available on the Club website. Overseas members will also receive copies of “Cruise Lines” when these are published. ELECTION OF MEMBERS Save the original members of the Club upon incorporation, no person shall be admitted as a member of the Club unless he has been proposed in accordance with the regulations and his application for membership is approved by the Committee. GENERAL (a) Guests No member may introduce more than FOUR guests at any one time. No guest may be introduced for more than SIX days in any one year. Unaccompanied Cadet members shall not be permitted to introduce guests into the Club without first obtaining permission from an officer or member of the committee. (b) Children Children are welcome in the clubhouse at all times. However, children under 14 years of age shall not be permitted in the bar lounge after 20:00, when they are requested to use the Chart Room on the 1st floor. (c) Dogs No dogs shall be admitted on the Club Premises unless on a lead, and not at all after 18:00. SUBSCRIPTIONS Subscriptions are due and payable on April 1st in each year, whatever may have been the date of election, and will cover the period to the following 31st March. Subscription rates reduce by (approximately) 50% on 1st October and 75% on 1st January for new members joining the Club; details of new-member rates are given in the table on the next page.
