It ’ s been reported that Winston Churchill drank Champagne at least once a day for more than 50 years . It ’ s doubtful many of us are imbibing at that level ( although Churchill did live to be 90 years old , so maybe there ’ s something to be said for it ), but with the holidays upon us , many of us will likely be enjoying a bottle of bubbly or two . And while there ’ s never a bad time for Champagne ( just ask Churchill !), the holidays are the perfect time to incorporate your favorite bubbly wines , whether freshly opened or leftover , into these delicious indulgences .
