Protected a 25-acre parcel in Fairfax County that extends the wildlife habitat of Elklick Woodlands Natural Area Preserve. Joined with Compass Light Productions, an Emmy-nominated filmmaking company, to better showcase our land trust and the significance of the work that we do in our local communities. Recognized at a Washington Nationals baseball game for our positive impact on the region. Conserved our first wetland mitigation site by assuming long-term stewardship responsibilities for three wetland properties in Fauquier County, totaling 147 acres.
