DR . DAVID WEISSBERG , M . D . is an orthopedic surgery specialist in Huntington Station , NY . Dr . I am a practicing orthopedic surgeon working in Long Island , New York for over 35 years . Throughout my career , I have seen a steady progress in my profession ’ s ability to competently treat a wide array of orthopedic problems . My practice involves treating people of all ages injured by sports injuries , slip and fall accidents , car accidents , and , in addition , chronic degenerative issues which we all face as we age . During my years in practice , I was a team physician for three high school football districts taking care of their football teams and the many injuries the players suffered in the sport . I am keenly aware of the processes involved in the acute care of injured athletes and their inherent long-term rehabilitation programs . I have also treated elderly patients with hip fractures and have watched how difficult it was for these people to regain their basic gait and activities of daily living functions . Victims of car accidents who have suffered multi-system trauma of all ages all have to suffer through a long and arduous program . Throughout my years of practice , various surgical techniques and advances in rehabilitation have shortened the rehabilitation process in these individuals . The problem is always the same in the end though . How does one take either a traumatized patient or a chronically overweight arthritic individual and get the joints moving and their muscles conditioned and trained to achieve a quick and highly functional

outcome , and most importantly in a way that is tolerable to the patient ?
Over three years ago I was introduced to Nuzuna and their Electro-Muscle- Stimulation ( EMS ) or often referred to as their SUPER-SUIT technology system . I have come to believe that this technology is revolutionary in many ways . Their EMS system offers true benefits for sports performance professionals and those in physical therapy and rehabilitation fields . By using EMS , we can strengthen muscles around damaged joints that otherwise would be too painful to do using conventional methods . We can strengthen these muscles and improve their reaction time and functionality in deconditioned individuals using twenty-minute sessions two to three times a week with minimal resistance and causing less aggravation of their arthritic or post-traumatized joints . So many of my patients when told to lose weight and strengthen their muscles around their damaged joints look at me as if I was insane . Using conventional methods , most did not have the motivation or high pain threshold to succeed , leaving them to further deterioration in their functional status and reinforcing their negative
