exercise can also speed up muscle recovery time and minimize joint inflammation .
The SUPER-SUIT uses artificial intelligence to gather athletes ’ information from the 20 pre-placed electrode pads on the bodysuit and deliver that information to the trainer ’ s control tablet . The technology ’ s able to indicate whether there are muscle imbalances , muscle fatigue , dehydration , and a variety of other factors . This way , the trainer can adjust the intensity level of the stimulation and customize the workout according to each athlete ’ s health condition and their fitness goals . For example , the body may be limiting the motion of a previously injured area to protect it . The SUPER-SUIT can help diagnose this by using low to mid-range frequency impulses to recalibrate the brain and return the athlete to full use of the muscle .
Customization is critical because every athlete is different . Their SUPER-SUIT exercise must be adjusted based on their muscle fiber composition , current fitness , previous injuries and pain , as well as other factors . Luckily this cutting-edge technology makes such customization easy . The SUPER-SUIT technology also makes it easy to keep the nervous system adaptive by targeting different muscles at various intensities without having to change so many other elements of the training program . For example , applying stimulus to one area of the body not only impacts those muscles but produces an adaptive response elsewhere .
Hundreds of studies have been conducted on this technology , and more and more of those studies are focused on athletes and performance . Studies such as these are proving the sports benefits of EMS ( SUPER-SUIT ):
• Effect of Electrical Myostimulation on the Function of Lower Leg Muscles : This study evaluated the efficacy of EMS applied to the sole and calf muscles on their strength and on maximal sprint performance . It showed that 10 EMS cycles up to the maximal tolerated intensity applied every other day improved the maximal voluntary contraction of foot flexion muscles and 10-meter sprint performance from both standing and running starts .
• Effects of Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation Training on Endurance Performance : In this opinion paper , the authors brought previous literature on NEMS together to discuss the impact of high- vs . low-frequency NEMS training on muscle vs . functional endurance in healthy vs . clinical populations . Among other things , they found high- and low-frequency NMES training can increase functional endurance ; high-frequency NMES results in a fast-to-slow shift in fiber type distribution together with increased oxidative capacity and capillarization of the stimulated muscles ; and that high-frequency NMES training of abdominal muscles in healthy individuals resulted in substantial increases in abdominal strength and endurance time .
• Effects of a Whole-Body Electrostimulation Program on Strength , Sprinting , Jumping , and Kicking Capacity in Elite Soccer Players : This study investigated the effects of a 14-week dynamic wholebody EMS training program on muscular strength , soccer relevant sprint , jump and kicking velocity performance in elite soccer players during competitive season . The investigators found it significantly increased one-leg maximal strength , improved linear sprinting , sprinting with direction changes , vertical jumping performance and kicking velocity .
• Effect of Patterned Electrical Neuromuscular Stimulation on Vertical Jump in Collegiate Athletes : This study explored the effectiveness of PENS as applied to the quadriceps muscles on the vertical jump of an athletic population . It found that six weeks of vertical jump training coordinated with PENS resulted in a greater increase than jumping only or control .
• Electrostimulation Training Effects on the Physical Performance of Ice Hockey Players : This study examined the influence
TESTIMONIALS
ANGIE D . CLIENT
“ I love love LOVE this suit ! Ever since I started working out in the suit , regular workouts without the suit are definitely not the same . I work nearly 70 hours a week and I ’ m also a part-time student so making time to exercise is a challenge , but I noticed ever since I started exercising with the suit , I was able to maintain my physique and my strength and stamina have improved ! I would highly recommend this to anyone who ’ s always busy and barely have time for self-care .”
DERRICK C . SEATTLE SEAHAWK NFL PLAYER
“ When we have football practice , we wear leg compression just to keep our muscles tight . So when you put on the suit , not only does it keep all your muscles together , but the added device helps activate muscles that are not trying to do work or just trying to be lazy . That takes it to a whole new level that I get to experience today .”
of a three-week EMS training program on the strength of knee extensors , skating and vertical jump performance of a group of ice hockey players . Results indicated isokinetic torque increased significantly as did skating performance .
