Spanish Omelette (Tortilla de patata) We used: - 1 large frying pan for frying potatoes and onions - 1 medium frying pan for cooking the omelette - 2 mixing bowls : 1 large and 1 small Ingedients: - 5-6 medium potatoes, peeled - 1 onion - 4-5 eggs Steps to follow 1) We cut the peeled potatoes in half lengthwise .Then with the flat side on the chopping board, we slice the potato in thin pieces. 2) We shredded the onion into dices .We put the onions into a large frying pan with the olive oil (previously heated) and we cooked them together. We salty the mixture to taste. 3) We have left in the pan until the potatoes went cooked. When we can easily split in two a potato with a fork, the potatoes is cooked. We can remove them from the pan. 4) We have broke the eggs into a mixing bowl and we have beat by hand with a whisk. After we added the mixture of potatoes and onions. Then we mixed with a large spoon.
