Children ’ s One Earns CAMTS Accreditation
After more than a year and a half of preparation , the Children ’ s One team completed its first Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems ( CAMTS ) site survey . CAMTS evaluates the quality and safety of various medical transport systems to ensure patients receive highquality care on land and in the air .
Surveyors were particularly impressed with Children ’ s Colorado , saying that “ this is the first survey we ’ ve done in a long time where there were more best practices than findings .” Children ’ s One demonstrated excellence across the board , receiving praise for program features such as :
• Education and simulation program
• Fatigue management systems
• ZOLEO technology to ensure stable mobile service
• A crew completely dedicated to medical transport , not just onsite care
Children ’ s Colorado is now one of 160 medical transport systems from across the country accredited by CAMTS .
