S-26 ® ORIGINAL LACTOSE FREE is being replaced with S-26 ® ORIGINAL LI ^ , which will be PBS-listed for acute lactose intolerance from 1 st December 2017 (S-26 ORIGINAL LACTOSE FREE will remain available and PBS-listed until 1 st February 2018). S-26 GOLD ® DELICATEEZE ® is the new name for S-26 GOLD COMFORT ® . For more information, contact your Aspen Nutritionals representative, or Careline on 1800 552 229. *SMA has a new pack design (and is being transitioned to INFACARE), however formulation remains the same. ^ S-26 GOLD LI and S-26 ORIGINAL LI are not suitable for general use and should be used under medical supervision, and are not suitable for infants with cow’s milk protein allergy or galactosaemia or those requiring a galactose-free diet. IMPORTANT STATEMENT: Breastfeeding is best for babies. It has benefits for the infant, such as reducing infection risk, and for the mother. It is important to have a healthy balanced diet in preparation for, and during breastfeeding. Infant formula is designed to replace breast milk when an infant is not breastfed. Breastfeeding can be negatively affected by introducing partial bottle-feeding, and reversing a decision not to breastfeed is difficult. Infant formula must be prepared and used as directed. Unnecessary or improper use of infant formula, such as not properly boiling water or sterilising feeding equipment, may make your baby ill. Social and financial implications, including preparation time and the cost of formula, should be considered when selecting a method of infant feeding.
