Why would you hurt those who love you?
Yet you lost your voice
Powerless lacking the greatest gift of all
Your misery speaks but in incomprehensible mumbling
Did the cat bite your tongue?
Tell the one who must know
They'll understand, they'll listen
Valued intimacy was never theirs to take
You're not to blame
Are you?
Yet you're the nightingale
The one who cannot sing
Revenge best served on a cold dish
But did they finally
