The Statuesque issue. The term “statuesque” suggests attributes of classical beauty, elegance, and proportion. The statue was, at one time, the model of artistic form. But the classical statue is now a historical style, evoking an earlier era. Naming a styled shoot after such a regal word is no easy feat, and pulling it off successfully is something else altogether….and wow…have our photographers done it splendidly!
There is a sense of drama to the photo shots of Gobotoru and Del Frete. The statuesque poses, and interesting backdrops work together to create a surreal air that is completely captivating. We have images that evoke chameleon-like backdrops to bared bodies and black and white stills, there is something that is mysterious, yet revealing about each image. Rozman and Jacinta’s pictorials in this Statuesque themed photo shoot reflects each their pension for bringing both intimacy and sophistication to their art.
