NUDE Magazine Numero #33 CHALEUR issue Numero #33 The CHALEUR issue October 2022 | Page 7

What does Chaleur mean? Turn up the heat? If you take it up a notch, you increase the effort or intensity, which is exactly what these fine art nude photographers have done in the NUDE #33 issue, aptly entitled CHALEUR….

The photos in the “Chaleur” issue of NUDE  are dialed up to convey an intensity to the visual, and the contrasts created in light of varying intensity, is how these beautiful photos create dimension.

When we heat up the photographs with the intensity of available light in mind, that’s when the magic happens. Different levels of intensity can create all kinds of effects: Bright lighting for stark images, moody long exposures in dim or nearly non-existent light, images with bright lights and deep shadows to create lots of contrast. The intensity of our light sources is what gives us things like shading and shadow and those are the things that give photographs depth. Our Chaleur theme showcases different levels of intensity

From Irene Schaur unbelievable expression of marrying cool colors of reflections and the simplistic intensity of the photo to Molly’s vintage 70’s feel to Ugo Grandolini’s stark pictures where the details are nicely illuminated. Both Marc Boily and CinCin offer a whimsical, soft and dreamy portrait that requires a lot of creativity to create the mesmerizing, ethereal images that are seen in Chaleur.

Our talented photographers showcase their artistic qualities that distinguish the subject  of fine nudes from the archetypal and by extension, excellent photographs from boring ones. Very proud of this fine creative lot and their muses. We hope you enjoy the CHALUER issue!
