CIFF launches new digital platform to complement the physical trade fair . New hall layout ensures better flow through the exhibition halls and floors .
NU has spoken with CIFF ' s new boss Christina Neustrup about the long-term visions and the concrete plans for the upcoming edition of the fashion fair on 3-5 February , 2021 . - CIFF has its focus on northern Europe and an ambition to maintain its position as the largest fashion fair in Scandinavia . The turbulence on the fashion trade fair landscape in Berlin gives us more space , and we want to take advantage of that momentum . At the same time , we have a vision to strengthen CIFF digitally . Not because we want CIFF to become one hundred percent digital , but because the digital part should support the physical trade fair . Due to corona , there will be buyers and press who are unable to visit Copenhagen physically , and they must have the optimal digital tools to experience CIFF and meet CIFF ’ s exhibitors online . We will launch the new site in January 2021 , and the platform will be built as a kind of " dating " portal for brands and buyers . Specifically , this means that each brand is presented with three to four image photos as well as a short text that introduces the brand . A number of features will be linked to the portal , and it will be functioning as an inspirational universe and a tool for the buyer . Overall , the platform should give international buyers an overview of what we can offer in our region , says Christina Neustrup about the future plans .
