METTE DITMER
Summary
- Through recent seasons we have seen a
significant boost in sales and an increased
interest from new customers at home and
abroad. Instead of expanding our own organization, we saw prospects for entering
into a strong strategic partnership, says designer and founder, Mette Ditmer.
And the choice fell on Rikki Tikki:
- It’s a well-functioning and experienced
brand house with a large and resourceful
staff, Mette Ditmer states.
Among the textile bestsellers are the plaids
and bed linen from Mette Ditmer.
- Our plaids are selling really well. Also in
Iversen, is looking forward to the new part-
on the terrace. We are also ready to pre-
into the different markets, and there is al-
spring, where the plaids made from light
materials are perfect for summer nights
sent new bed linen designs; some in dusted,
green nuances and some with a little extra
twist, where the dusted colours are presented against some stronger colours in
a slightly daring colour mix meant to surprise and stand out, says Mette Ditmer.
For Rikki Tikki, peak season is usually
around Christmas. The Danish agency is
happy to be working with a non-seasonal
nership and the future prospects:
- We have the experience to find our way
ways room for good design. It’ll be an exciting journey we are about to embark on
in close collaboration with Mette Ditmer.
There is a huge unrealized potential in the
brand, which is currently considered a textile brand – also within new product categories for the home.
