The beautiful medieval town Lucca in

Tuscany, Italy is home to the sustainable
modern storage design UASHMAMA (pro-
nounced wash-mama). Its Italian name is
a tribute to the Italian mama. The family
business behind UASHMAMA is Le Sorelle,
named after the four ’sisters’, and with a
background in the Italian fashion industry,
the father, Marco, is the creative force of
the company. The paper products are man-
ufactured from cellulose and can be used
domestically in the form of bags, bowls,
baskets and flowerpots, among many other
things. As a gift idea filled with delicious
specialities, too.
