DFW Airport ranks third in passenger traffic and 11th in freight, and American Airlines is headquartered at DFW. Fort Worth Alliance Airport is the country’s first airport designed to support industrial operations, including FedEx, UPS and 56 other carriers. And, many aircraft and aircraft equipment manufacturers are also based in North Texas -- Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company, Bell Helicopter, Eurocopter, Vought, Aviall, Labinal and Boeing all have operations in the area. Fortunately, they all have the space to grow.
