Cowboys Stadium lures big-ticket
events, delivers spotlight for North Texas

s the largest domed venue in the world, Cowboys Stadium hosts its share of global events,
headlined by Super Bowl XLV in 2011.
The stadium’s versatility allows it to host an array
of sporting events – from football games and soccer
matches to monster truck rallies and title bouts –
along with major concerts, including Paul McCartney,
George Strait and Taylor Swift.
Cowboys Stadium holds several attendance
records, including largest crowd at a regular season
NFL game, largest ever basketball game, largest crowd
to watch a soccer match in Texas, and even the world
record for attendance at a pro bowling event.
