Industry Spotlight RELOCATION Opportunity Knocks Incentives, convenience and economic diversity help companies flourish within North Texas A Healthy business climate and a highly skilled workforce, along with the area’s centralized location, are just some of the reasons companies are flocking to the North Texas region to do business. DallasFort Worth currently has the fourth-largest number of corporate headquarters in the country, and is home to 18 Fortune 500 and 44 Fortune 1000 companies. The area has emerged as one of the world’s leading hubs for commerce, and its diverse base of employers drives the region’s economic strength, pulling from a variety of Fluor’s corporate headquarters, Irving, Texas burgeoning industries so that growth remains, even in downward business cycles. Texas continues to lead the U.S. in economic, post-recession recovery.
