Abstract
Chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML) is a haematological neoplasm, which predominantly involves the uncontrolled
growth of aberrant myeloid stem cells; contributing to roughly 10% of new leukaemia cases each year. Commonly
associated with the chromosomal translocation of the Philadelphia chromosome, this uncommon cancer mainly affects
