The Championship, conducted December 10-11 at Bridlewood Golf Club in Flower Mound, Texas, was an invitation-only event available only to the Top 8 in each Age Division’s respective Points Challenge bracket, or those who had received exemptions at tournaments earlier in the year. This competition between some of the most talented golfers in North Texas made for a very exciting tournament. The first day of competition was a cold one, with temperatures in the 30s and 40s and overcast skies for the entirety of Round 1. The sun broke through the clouds and temperatures rose during Round 2, making for much more favorable conditions. Because the competition was so stiff, scores were close throughout both rounds of the tournament. An exciting moment occurred when, during Round 1, Girls 13-14 Champion Madison Phung aced hole 12 from 145 yards with a 5-iron for her second hole-in-one to date. The All American Tour conducted 27 tournaments during 2016. Thank you to all our participants for another great year. We can’t wait to see you on Tour in 2017!
