John and I are proud to have been involved with the North Texas Food Bank for more than 30 years through leadership roles, volunteering and philanthropy. The Food Bank’ s mission to feed our hungry neighbors with nutritious meals directly impacts the health of our community.
Although the NTFB provided 70 million nutritious meals last year, the need is closer to a staggering 92 million. One in six North Texans suffers from chronic hunger – that includes one in four children and one in six seniors. The NTFB has created a 10-year plan to close this meal gap by 2025 through a $ 55 million capital campaign, Stop Hunger Build Hope. This is the largest capital campaign for a social service organization in the history of North Texas!
We believe that this campaign will not only be a game changer in and around Dallas, but will potentially revolutionize how food banks operate throughout the country. Through collaboration with our Partner Agencies, we will be able to provide the right food at the right place at the right time.
No one in our community should suffer from hunger. Please join us in the fight to eradicate hunger.
Warmly,
