Winter Staff Party
The annual winter staff event for all of NSSRA ' s part-time employees was held in December at the Mitchell L . Slotnick Center , and it was a resounding success . The event , which included games , custumer service and safety slugger awards , and a recap of the year , was attended by over 60 part-time team members .
The evening began with customer service and safety slugger awards which were presented to employees who had gone above and beyond in their roles over the past year . The awards were followed by an end-of-the-year recap video , which helped to get everyone in the spirit .
The highlight of the evening , however , was the series of teambuilding games , which included NSSRA trivia , Pictionary , and a facility-wide scavenger hunt accompanied by tons of laughter and joy ! The team highlighted the company ' s accomplishments over the past year , as well as its goals for the future .
Overall , the winter staff event was a great way for NSSRA to show its appreciation for its hard-working team , and to celebrate the many achievements of the past year . We look forward to welcoming new members to the team and making even more memories together in the coming year .
Forestry Work at NSSRA
The Mitchell L Slotnick Center recently underwent a series of forestry-related improvements aimed at increasing the safety of the building for all users . The ongoing work involves the removal of damaged and diseased trees , as well as the pruning of overgrown branches .
The forestry work was necessary to ensure the safety of the building and its visitors . " We want to ensure that the facility is safe and welcoming for everyone ," said Executive Director Craig Culp . " By addressing potential hazards , we can ensure that everyone can enjoy the space without worrying about their safety ."
The work has created a difference in the overall appearance and safety of the building and may create additional recreation opportunities in the future .
