Age : 7 - 21 Min / Max : 6 / 10 Location : Recreation Center of Highland Park
Jump into fun and fitness with our recreational swim program ! Participants will engage in water activities and games . We will lead you through various exercises and group challenges focusing on physical activity and social interaction . Each week will feature structured activities and free swim time , ensuring a well-rounded and enjoyable experience for all participants . Take advantage of this opportunity to make a splash and improve your swimming skills !

Goals :
Please come dressed in a labeled swimsuit and towel with a change of clothes .
Parents are expected to change their participant before and after program .
Parents / guardians must drop off and pick up to staff in the pool lobby .
All participants must use the restroom prior to entering the pool .
Participants not toilet-trained must wear a swim diaper and tight-fitting pants over ( no disposable or cloth diapers )

Improve gross motor skills and physical fitness through water play .

SHIELD-E BOLT-LIG HORSEBACK RIDING

Age : 3 and up Min / Max : 3 / 6 Location : Equestrian Connection , Lake Forest
Saddle up ! Equestrian Connection is a one-of-a-kind stable that provides therapeutic horseback riding opportunities . Participants will have three rotations during the program : riding , groundwork , and craft . During groundwork , participants will learn and practice grooming techniques .

A waiver will be sent before the program and must be returned to the NSSRA office by Thursday , March 16 .
Participants will be required to wear a provided helmet and gait belt for safety during program .
Participants over 250 pounds will do groundwork with horses instead of riding as a safety precaution for all . For participants with physical and medical conditions , please use caution .
Increase flexibility and range of motion while on the horse .
Gain self-confidence and a sense of control through stable skills .
Develop companionship with the horse and a sense of responsibility .
