Traveling Tourists
Tour Chicagoland’s hot spots as you enjoy an afternoon of social interaction with your peers. You will visit new destinations each week and indulge in lunch
out on the town (Please bring $15 - $20 to cover the cost of lunch each week). Sign up for all outings or just the ones that interest you. Each outing
has a separate transportation and program fee. A valid state-issued I.D. verifying your age as 21 or older is required each week. If you register for
transportation, NSSRA will pick you up at home and drop you off after program.

If you have a sweet tooth, then listen up! We are going to start the day by taking a
tour of the Long Grove Confectionery Co.! On this tour, we will enjoy a dazzling array
of candies, smell the sweet buttery caramel and taste the rich chocolate as it's created
right in front of us. After the tour, we will shop for our favorite chocolates in the outlet
store and then head to Walker Bros. Original Pancake House for a bite to eat. Program
fee includes tour admission. Please bring spending money for lunch and the
outlet store, if you would like to shop.
Are you ready for the B1G Ten Experience?! Join us as we learn the history of the
conference, beginning in 1896 when it was first founded. The museum is full of
interactive and digital exhibits, featuring a compilation of the conference's "firsts,"
"bests" and "icons." After, we’ll grab a bite to eat at Bub City, Chicagoland's destination
for barbecue and country music. Program fee includes admission. Please bring
money for lunch.
