Beginning with the 2018 Winter program season, NSSRA will be implementing a new high risk waiver process. Programs that involve potential high risk activities will require high risk waivers signed and returned to the office two weeks prior to event date or start of program. Read more on page 57. |
NSSRA & Glenbrook South High School Partner in Peer Mentoring Workshop In October, NSSRA staff spent a morning at Glenbrook South High School facilitating a disability awareness workshop for the school’ s incoming group of peer mentors. The workshop is an annual event in partnership with GBS, and helps to support the school’ s nearly three-decade running Peer Mentoring program. Continue reading on page 14. |
