Gator Bowling

This program is designed for competitive bowlers. Athletes will focus on techniques to improve their bowling skills for competition. Fee includes bowling and shoe rental.
Note: During the first week, athletes will take a Skills Assessment Test to determine participation in the program for the remainder of the season, as well as to gain eligibility for Special Olympics Illinois competitions. All athletes must have a current Special Olympics Medical Application for Participation on file. No program July 4.
Goals: Increase bowling average. Learn competitive skills such as aiming, stance and approach. Improve balance.

NSSRA Bowling *

During this program, you will enjoy socializing with your peers. You can bowl up to two games. Fee includes bowling and shoe rental. Participants wishing to compete in bowling tournaments should register for Gator Bowling. To be transported to Lunch Club, participants must also register for NSSRA Drama Co. Transportation will be provided to Saturday Socializers.
Goals: Develop an understanding of bowling rules and etiquette. Increase bowling averages. Learn to appropriately converse with one another while waiting to bowl.
