TGIF
TGI Friday groups will attend community events. Sign up for all, or choose only the ones that interest you. Each outing has a separate fee which covers cost
of admission, meals, staff and transportation. Event details, transportation times and other information will be mailed to you prior to the start of
programs. Please bring spending money if you would like to purchase snacks or souvenirs. No program April 19 and May 10.
Goals: Develop appropriate peer relationships. Learn about various community resources. Increase awareness of peers and ability to self advocate.

Lace up your ice skates and let's make our way onto the ice! We'll dip and swizzle before heading to
Homer's Ice Cream to enjoy a sweet treat. Program fee includes ice skating, skate rental and ice
cream. Participants/guardians must complete an NSSRA waiver in order to participate. Waivers
must be returned to the NSSRA office no later than Friday, March 15.
Hello, Spring! There is no better way to swing into the season than with our friends from Friday Night
Social B! This will be an evening you don't want to miss. Join us as we dance, play games and enjoy a
delicious "spring" snack! Program fee includes a light snack.
Let's head on over to a favorite, Pinstripes, and enjoy a night of pizza and bocce. Improve your skills,
socialize with all your friends and enjoy a delicious meal. Program fee includes dinner and two
games of bocce.

It's movie night! We will visit the theater to watch one of the latest flicks. NSSRA will contact you with
movie options, location and transportation information prior to Friday, April 26. NSSRA will purchase
tickets. Please bring money if you would like snacks.
It's that time of the year for NSSRA's annual Spring Formal! Get dressed up for a night of fun with your
friends from other SRAs. Groove to the beat on the dance floor and then recharge at the refreshment table
before you rock out some more. Everyone will be talking about this fun event for weeks! Please dress
appropriately for this formal affair. Dresses and ties are encouraged!

May 17: Chicago Dogs Baseball Game
Grab your friends and join us to cheer on the Chicago Dogs for opening night! Let's root the Dogs to
victory as they play against the Gary SouthShore RailCats. What better way to welcome spring than with
baseball, a hot dog (no ketchup!) and friends! Program fee includes admission to the game. Please
bring money if you would like food from the concession stand.
