"Ten years ago I was introduced to NSSRA when my brother Peter began participating in programs.
Soon after, I became an Inclusion Companion and later was part of the Inclusion Support Team. NSSRA
is where I got my start working with individuals with disabilities and helped me realize this passion of
mine could become a career path. As Peter got older and we prepared for his future, I knew I wanted to
help other families as their children transitioned out of high school. Now I get to do that at ELA! It's such
a cool opportunity to help the participants grow and build their independence while having fun with
their friends. I love what I do every day." - Niki (far left), Recreation Specialist for Enriched Lifestyles for
