Saturday Adult Line-Up

Lunch Club *

This program is open to participants registered for NSSRA or Gator Bowling and NSSRA Drama Co. Lunch Club offers a supervised lunch and social time. Bring your own labeled lunch and drink. Transportation will be provided from bowling programs to Lunch Club. NSSRA will not be running programs on Saturday, March 31 in light of Easter and Passover. Please note that this program will begin one week late on Saturday, April 7. Goals: Improve social etiquette. Improve listening skills and ability to express thoughts and opinions appropriately.

NSSRA Drama Co.*

Lights, camera, action! Participants will learn movement, delivery and the joy of acting like Hollywood’ s biggest stars! The group will choose a production, make props and perform the show. At the end of the season, the group will present its final performance. Family members and friends are invited to watch the final show. NSSRA will not be running programs on Saturday, March 31 in light of Easter and Passover. Please note that this program will begin one week late on Saturday, April 7. Goals: Plan and produce a staged performance. Increase ability to follow a script and stage direction. Increase ability to express self through movement and dialogue.

Pump It Up *

Being with friends makes working out much more fun! During Pump It Up, you will stretch out your muscles and find new ways to stay active and healthy. You may go for a walk or learn a new dance routine, but no matter what you do, you’ ll be pumped! Please wear gym shoes and bring a water bottle. NSSRA will not be running programs on Saturday, March 31 in light of Easter and Passover. Please note that this program will begin one week late on Saturday, April 7. Goals: Learn various fitness outlets. Improve cardiovascular fitness. Increase muscle tone. Learn about health, lifestyle, and wellness.

Relaxation & Movement *

Sign up for this program and let us guide you through thirty minutes of relaxation and movement. You will learn a variety of breathing exercises and yoga poses as you lead yourself to a healthier mind and body. Relaxation techniques through art may also be incorporated. A light snack will be provided each week. NSSRA will not be running programs on Saturday, March 31 in light of Easter and Passover. Please note that this program will begin one week late on Saturday, April 7. Goals: Identify personal stressors. Develop an understanding of personal relaxation techniques. Increase spatial awareness.
