Created in 1997, Northern Suburban Special Recreation Association Foundation( NSSRA Foundation) supports NSSRA by:
• Providing 328 scholarships in 2016
• Raising $ 1.5 million for NSSRA programs and services in the last 20 years
• Hosting the SWING Golf Outing every September
• Raising additional funds through their annual Holiday Appeal
• Purchasing specially equipped vehicles for NSSRA that provided more than 20,000 rides for participants in 2016
• Sponsoring NSSRA special events which allows participants and their families to attend the Shining Stars Awards & Recognition Banquet and Summer Bash for free or at a reduced rate
Our Foundation is a 501( c)( 3) non-profit organization. Donations to NSSRA Foundation are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
