Strength & Conditioning Together we’ll learn how to increase our strength through different exercise techniques such as machines, free weights and the use of the track. Gator athletics emphasize sportsmanship, fundamentals and rules of the game. Participants are expected to compete in Special Olympics (SO) and Special Recreation Association (SRA) events. The first few weeks will consist of practicing and conditioning. Athletes must attend practices as well as take a Skills Assessment Test to gain eligibility for SO competitions. Athletes must have a current Special Olympics Medical Application for Participation on file. Game locations and transportation times will vary. A schedule and tournament information will be distributed at the beginning of the season. No program December 24 and December 31. Goals: Enhance basketball skills through practice and competition.
