TGIF groups will attend community events. Sign up for all, or choose only the ones that interest you. Each outing has a separate fee which covers cost of admission, meals, staff and transportation. Event details, transportation times and other information will be mailed to you prior to the start of this season’ s programs. You may bring extra money for snacks and souvenirs as appropriate. No program September 29. Goals: Develop appropriate peer relationships. Learn about various community resources. Increase awareness of peers and ability to self advocate.

Movie Night: September 22 It’ s movie night! We will visit the theater to watch one of the latest flicks. You will be contacted with the movie choice, location and transportation information prior to September 22. NSSRA will purchase tickets. Please bring money if you would like snacks.

Friday Night Lights with RA 2: October 6 Go, fight, win! Football is back in action for the fall! Let’ s support our local high school as they fight for victory. Cheer on the New Trier Trevians as they play the Niles North Vikings on our home turf. The game starts at 7:30 pm and is sure to keep you up on your feet! Program fee includes the cost of admission. Please bring money if you would like to purchase concessions.

Thrown Elements & Ice Cream: October 13 Tonight we are artists! We will paint our own piece of pottery at Thrown Elements, and once finished, we ' ll head on over to Baskin-Robbins for a late night treat! Program fee includes the cost of pottery and ice cream.

Graveyard Gala at M-NASR: October 20 Come have a spooky good time at M-NASR’ s annual Halloween Dance. We will join local SRAs for a costume party that will be the talk of the season! Light refreshments will be provided. The dance is from 6:00 – 9:00 pm.

Monster Mash with FNS B: October 27 Come decked out in your best costume and make sure you ' ve got your dancing shoes because we ' re going to have an evening so fun it ' ll give you goosebumps! We will dance the night away, play Halloween games and have a scary snack! Trick-or-Treat! Light refreshments will be served.

North Branch: November 3 Looking for some pizza? Maybe a hearty burger? How about a salad? We ' ve got a new favorite to try out! Pull up a chair and join us for dinner! Program fee includes the cost of dinner.

Turkey Twist at SRSNLC: November 10 Twist the night away … it’ s time for another Turkey Twist at SRSNLC Lindenhurst! Celebrate the season in style by joining your friends for an evening of dancing, snacks and fun. Light refreshments will be served. The dance is from 6:30 – 8:30 pm.

Dinner & Bowling: November 17 Don’ t let the falling temperatures keep you too snuggled up inside! Let ' s get some blood flowing and enjoy a night of dinner and bowling at Pinstripes with our friends. Improve your skills and avoid the November chills! Program fee includes the cost of dinner and one game of bowling.
