Roundabout 1

Let’ s go“ Roundabout” this fall! Sign up for all, or choose only the ones that interest you. Each outing has a separate fee which covers admission, staff and transportation cost. Event details and transportation times will be mailed to you with your confirmation prior to the start of the season’ s programs. Bring a state-issued ID each week. You may bring extra money for snacks or souvenirs. Goals: Develop and maintain appropriate relationships. Increase awareness of community and leisure activities. Improve ability to engage and participate in appropriate conversations.

Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice!: September 23 No more longingly perusing Pinterest for the next fall recipe or craft. We’ re bringing the DIY to you! Both Roundabout 1 & 2 will join together for a fall frenzy! Come ready to bake and make some autumn goodies. Leaf the rest to us!
NEDSRA’ s 50s Sock Hop: September 30 Grab your poodle skirts and dust off your penny loafers; it’ s time for NEDSRA’ s annual homecoming dance. It’ ll be coolsville with music, snacks and the crowning of an SRA King and Queen. Dress to impress! The dance runs from 7:00- 9:30pm. Program fee includes cost of admission.
Oktoberfest: October 7 Can’ t make it to Munich this year? Not a problem! Celebrate the season and all it has to offer at Hofbräuhaus Chicago. With food spanning from sausages to cheese and pretzels, you’ re sure to fit right in on our own German festival. No lederhosen required. NSSRA will purchase the entrées. Bring money if you would like to order appetizers or enjoy the Bavarian brews.
Driving Range: October 14 Time to show off your swing! Join your friends at a local competitive driving range. The computers track your distance while you enjoy appetizers. You can’ t beat a night like this but you can beat your friends’ high score! Participants wishing to order more than a snack should bring money.
M-NASR Halloween Dance: October 21 Costume? Check! Sweet tooth? Check! Looks like you’ re ready to have a spooky good time at M-NASR’ s annual Halloween Dance. Refreshments will be provided. The dance is from 6:00 – 9:00 pm.
LEGO Adult Night- Halloween Edition *: October 28 No kids allowed! It’ s adult night at LEGOLAND Discovery. Enjoy a night of learning and building all with a spooky twist. * Some assembly required!
SRACLC Fall Fantasy Dinner & Dance: November 4 Dinner and dancing go together like turkey and gravy! Join SRACLC for an elegant, catered meal before the live band performs. This is no dream! You’ ll want to dress up for this fall fantasy. The fun lasts from 6:30- 9:00 pm.
Bocce & Dinner: November 11 Don’ t let the falling temperatures stop you from playing a sport! Enjoy a night of bocce and food from Pinstripes with your friends. Improve your skills and avoid the November chills! Program fee includes the cost of bocce and dinner.
Movie Night: November 18 It’ s movie night! We will visit the theater and choose one of the latest flicks to watch. Program fee includes admission. Please bring money if you would like snacks.
