Required to complete the NSSRA COVID-19 Participant Assessment to determine eligibility for NSSRA programs
In-Person Participant Eligibility Requirements :
» Maintain a 6-foot physical distance from other participants and staff .
» Properly put on , wear , and take off a face covering , when necessary , for the duration of the program .
» Manage independent personal care ( i . e . hygiene , toileting , feeding ).
» Participate with visual and verbal prompting within a ratio of one staff to four participants .
Eligible to Participate in NSSRA Programs
Where does everyone need to wear a mask ?
» In the presence of individuals age 11 and under , indoors and outdoors . » Riding in NSSRA vehicles . » As required in certain facilities .
NSSRA will :
» Determine program capacity according to state and local COVID guidelines , staff availability , facility space , transportation parameters and overall safety of the program offering .
» Offer structured programs to allow participants and staff to keep social distance from others .
» Support participants who choose to wear masks even when not required per NSSRA guidelines or with proof of vaccination .
» Provide proper staffing to meet the needs of participants per guidelines , assessment outcomes and eligibility requirements , however there is no guarantee that participants or staff will be vaccinated . NSSRA staff will wear a mask while in programs .
» Ask COVID-19 screening questions at the participant ’ s arrival or transportation pickup to continue to minimize risk .
» Add capacity to programs as facility space and staffing is available . This may delay a participant ’ s start date as proper staffing is needed to ensure safe programming . NSSRA will pro-rate the program fee accordingly .
» Work with partner agency staff to determine and implement program accommodations on an individualized basis for successful programming .
