Fellow NSRCC members,
With the declaration of phase 2 by the Government, our golf courses here in Singapore opened for play, and we have seen a constant trend of flights being quickly snapped up by golfers suffering from“ golf deprivation” during the Circuit Breaker period. Coupled with the on-going travel restrictions and our Club’ s No-Guest policy, getting a flight is no doubt a challenge. The Club Management and Greens Committee have recently implemented temporary mitigation measures to the existing booking process, to provide a fair and equitable booking system to all our members.
On another note, you would be aware that there is a list of precautionary measures in place to help keep all of us safe and prevent the spread of the virus. To amplify SGA’ s concept of“ Play Golf and go Home”, we would like to highlight that to avoid prolonged intermingling, it would be best to avoid staying in the Club longer than necessary after your golf game.
I urge all of you to do your part to observe these measures and ensure that your flight mates do so as well. This would prevent any action from the authorities which might lead to temporary closure of the courses.
On top of the few mentioned above, below are also some of the other measures which are posted in the advisory on the Club’ s website.
- All individuals who have recently returned from ALL other countries( not just limited to COVID-19 affected countries) in the last 14 days prior to visiting the Club will be refused entry.
- All individuals, both members and visitors, are to fill up and submit declaration forms upon every visit so as to enable contact tracing.
- Observe social distancing throughout all our facilities, so please look out for the markings on the ground during queuing. F & B outlets will also re-arrange their layouts to space out diners.
Last but not least, stay safe and enjoy your golf!
