He says that the most satisfying part of his job is bringing life to old or bare patches through planting. Bowei was the person responsible for beautifying the bungalow area as part of its refurbishment. “My current work-in-progress is a rain garden located between Hole #12 and #15. It is supposed to be a landscape area, but I am creating a rain garden which helps to ensure that cleaner rainwater flows into our pond,” says Bowei. Budiman Masoud started out as a lifeguard at NSRCC Changi in March 1997. “I didn’t know what to expect from working here in NSRCC back then. But now, with colleagues who understand each other and work hand in hand, I know why I choose to work in NSRCC,” he shared. He is currently managing the tasks of a pool supervisor. Mr Budiman still performs lifeguard duties but is also responsible for managing daily pool operations. Say hello to him whenever you see him around the Club!
