NSRCC played our first game at Sembawang
Country Club, playing against Seletar Country
Club in a repeat of last year’s Finals. We made
a good start, beating them again, this time by a
score of 10 to 5.
We continued our good start and beat Sentosa
Golf Club at TMCC with a score of 9 to 6.
The next game, our 3rd Leg against Orchid
Country Club, was also at Sembawang Country
Club. We defeated them with a score of 9 to 6.
The next Leg was at Changi Golf Club, where
NSRCC suffered our one and only loss in the
league. This defeat came at the hands of SICC,
who beat us with a score of 10 to 5.
We next played TMCC at SICC, whom we beat
with a score of 9.5 to 5.5. This was the halfway
mark of the league, and we were in 2nd position
with 12 points, behind SICC’s 15 points.
Must make sure this
one goes in
Our next opponent was Warren Golf and Country
Club at Sentosa Golf Club. They too provided
little resistance and we won by a score of 9 to 6.
Going into the last leg of the league, we overcame
Changi Golf Club with a score of 11 to 4. At the
same time, SICC beat Sembawang Country Club
10.5 to 4.5.
We would like to thank all our players for their
dedication, team effort and hard work, and
congratulate them for a great performance.
Special mention goes to the supporters, spouses,
and parents of our junior members. A big thank
you also to Mr Andrew Cher (League Convenor),
Mr David Huang and Mr Nigel Liew (League
Advisors) for their assistance and advice. We also
like to thank Mizuno for sponsoring Team NSRCC
in this League.
We next played Keppel Club at Warren Golf
and Country Club for our 6th Leg fixture, and
dispatched them by a huge margin of 13 to 2.
Sembawang Country Club was our next opponent
at Orchid Country Club. They provided little
resistance as we ran out 10.5 to 4.5 as winners.
Glory, glory NSRC
