MAY/JUN 2020
Fellow NSRCC members,
S
ince the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Club has been closely following the
Government guidelines, which include various precautionary measures such as temperature
taking prior to entering the premises at both locations, travel declaration, safe distancing
and the installation of screen dividers in the fleet of buggies.
Despite all the measures taken, Singapore has seen an increase of COVID-19 cases including
community spread. This has left the Government no choice but to implement a “circuit breaker”
and close all sports facilities including country clubs for a period of one month. Although this is
much to the disappointment of most of our members, this closure is much needed in order to
reduce the risk of further local transmission of this virus.
If all of us display a sense of individual social responsibility during these trying times, every effort
will play a big part in curbing this virus. I urge everyone to continue putting into practice all the
necessary measures, and this should continue to apply when business is as usual at the Club,
making it a safe environment for everyone.
See you again soon at NSRCC!
