In & Around NSRCC Signature Pork Trotter Bee Hoon (rice vermicelli) is highly recommended by our favourite chef. It is prepared in a traditional style using canned pork trotter (the high-quality Narcissus brand) and surprisingly, it is not as oily as anticipated. The bee hoon is full of collagen primed with vegetables (choy sum), bean sprouts and lavish portions of egg. Another must try! The deep-fried pork belly is marinated with special fermented bean curd that exudes a pungent aroma. It will entice your palate before you even sink your teeth into the pork belly. It is crispy on the outside while the interior is tender and succulent. Eating the pork belly alongside the five-pepper coated garlic will simply give you an out-of- this-world feeling. It also goes well with beer! This huge “camaraderie dish” is meant for sharing with friends and family. It is served in a massive porcelain pot. The curry is creamy, rich with coconut milk (close to Nyonya style) and it comes with ladyfingers and delectable soggy tau pok (dried beancurd), simply awesome!
