Mr Ng briefing Mr Chan on the temporary dormitories at NSRCC Kranji
Permanent Secretary( Defence) Mr Chan Heng Kee visited both NSRCC’ s Clubhouses at NSRCC Changi and Kranji on Dec 7, 2020 and Jan 29 respectively.
NSRCC General Manager Mr Ng Heng Chew and Director( Business Strategy & Resort) Mr Stanley Ho, familiarised Mr Chan with the various golf and resort facilities, giving him a first-hand experience of our day-to-day operations.
During his tour at NSRCC Changi, Mr Chan was given a walking tour of Resort facilities such as the Billiards Room, Jackpot Room and our Resort Bowl. Unfortunately, there was a heavy downpour that day, and Mr Chan was not able to visit the 18- hole course. However, the mood was not dampened by the rain, as a tour to the Sky Range ensued and he was introduced to our unique golf driving range and its scenic surroundings.
Mr Chan then visited NSRCC Kranji on Jan 29 where he was given a site tour of the entire Clubhouse and Course Maintenance Building. The tour ended at the temporary dormitories, where both Mr Ng and Mr Ho briefed him on its operating procedures.
Mr Chan commended our Club Management’ s efforts in providing a great suite of facilities for NSmen and their families. He also thanked NSRCC for the effort in supporting the Whole-of- Government and MINDEF’ s efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic throughout the Government Quarantine Facility operations at NSRCC Changi and the temporary dormitories at NSRCC Kranji.
