Mr. Malik Hopkins, business development/program management professional with more than 20 years of
experience developing and executing strategies to increase organizational revenue from government,
foundation, philanthropic and commercial clients. He has developed and led proposals that have secured
clients more than $140M in awards. Mr. Hopkins also specializes in all phases of program, project and
contract management. His experience encompasses full program management lifecycle development, from
inception to completion, based on best practice PMBOK™ methodologies. His extensive skill sets include
understanding the grants, bids and proposal management lifecycle and implementing program management
strategies to achieve operational goals and objectives. He has simultaneously managed multiple high level
projects and proposals; including budgeting and scheduling for a NASA program that allowed the first HBCU coalition of
schools to place an experiment on the International Space Station (ISS). Mr. Hopkins brings a wealth of knowledge and
experience in working with Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) on federally funded projects and developed the proposal to
secure the funding for the MSRDC. His extensive knowledge of the program and the stakeholders will be a critical asset as
the organization moves to satisfy the research and development priorities of the U.S. Army Edgewood Chemical Biological
Center (ECBC).
