If we could describe Adolfo's style,
we would begin by naming two
great artists, a painter and a pho-
tographer: Vermeer and Meisel.
Adolfo's photographs refer us, on
the one hand, to the portraits of
Johanes Vermeer at the time of
the Renaissance, and on the oth-
er, to the stage of Steven Meisel
in which he replicated John Sing-
er Sargent's paintings. All these
artists, like Valente, delicately use
light in their works, as well as bal-
ance and harmony bewtween the
colors that make them up.
