EN Why Ecuador ? Something tingles in your heart when you think about your country , either because it takes you back to your best memories or because the people you love the most are linked to these places where you feel comfortable , as if those places belong to you in one way or another .
Ecuador is unique ; people like to say we are a small country with a giant heart . In this modest land there are four distinct regions : Coast , Andes , Amazon and the Galapagos Islands . These four regions coexist within one country , each with it ’ s own characteristics that differentiate one from the other , from culture and ideology to its flora and fauna .
In this opportunity , we took advantage of the benefit of being so close to the beach . For a moment we were able to disengage from the hectic life in Guayaquil , leave everything behind in order to embark in this project to be able to exhibit one of the wonders this country has to offer , it ’ s beaches .
Moreover , people say art is therapy . It was definitely wonderful to combine art with the energy from Salinas and express ourselves through these photographs . Daniel , doing what he does best with his camera ; and me , seeking to capture with my body the pride I feel of being born in this land .
Encompassed by vast extensions of sand , sea , caves and native animals , your visit to these beaches could make you fall in love , to the point where you will always keep them in a special place among your heart .
Being Ecuadorean means knowing that you are an ambassador for a country that has it all . Our people are extremely warm and joyful , enhancing your stay in this diverse country . Being Ecuadorean means that no matter where you are , your greatest longing will always be to return , even if it is just for a while .
SP ¿ Por qué Ecuador ? Cuando piensas en tu país es indudable que sientas algo en tu corazón , ya sea porque te remite a tus mejores recuerdos o porque las personas que más quieres se encuentran en esos lugares que conoces y donde te sientes cómodo , como si esos espacios te pertenecieran de alguna manera u otra .
Ecuador tiene algo en particular , bien dicen que es un país pequeño pero con un corazón gigante . Y es que en esta pequeña superficie se encuentran cuatro regiones Costa , Andes , Amazonía e Islas Galápagos . Cuatro mundos se fusionan en un solo lugar , cada uno con sus propias características que lo diferencian , desde la cultura y las ideologías , hasta su fauna y flora .
En esta oportunidad , aprovechamos tener el beneficio de estar tan cerca de la playa . Por un momento nos desconectamos de la vida agitada de Guayaquil y dejamos atrás las cosas que nos sucedían para embarcarnos en este proyecto y poder mostrar una de las maravillas que este país ofrece , sus playas .
Además , bien dicen que el arte es una terapia y definitivamente fue maravilloso fusionarlo con un lugar como Salinas , cargado de tanta energía , para poder expresarnos a través de estas fotografías . Daniel , haciendo lo que mejor sabe hacer con su cámara ; y yo , buscando transmitir con mi cuerpo el orgullo que me da haber nacido en esta tierra .
Entre extensiones gigantes de arena , mar , cuevas y animales propios de la zona , tu visita a estas playas podría enamorarte , a tal punto que siempre guardarás un lugar especial para ellas en tu corazón .
Ser ecuatoriana es saber que eres embajadora de un país que lo tiene todo . Su gente es extremadamente cálida y alegre , lo que hará que tu estadía sea aún más linda . Ser ecuatoriana es saber que no importa donde estés , tu mayor anhelo siempre será regresar , aunque sea por un rato .
